Contractor Accreditation Scrutiny Panel

We are looking for new independent members to join our Contractor Accreditation Scrutiny Panel. The Scrutiny Panel is very much involved in evaluating and validating the TPAS Cymru Contractor Accreditation process and final judgment of whether the award can be given to a contractor. The Scrutiny Panel is made up of a diverse group of members of the TPAS Cymru management committee, a member of the Senior Management Team from TPAS Cymru and independent landlord officers or tenants.

The independent members of the Contractor Accreditation Scrutiny Panels are selected through a simple application process. Once on the Scrutiny Panel you will be provided with training, support and mentoring on the Contractor Accreditation process, from members of TPAS Cymru staff and will form a pool of Scrutiny Panel members who will come together to validate the judgment of a Contractor Accreditation Award.

The commitment required would be attendance at two standardization and training meetings per year and up to three scrutiny panel assessments in the year.

We are particularly interested in applicants for the scrutiny panel who have a good knowledge of tenant participation and involvement in repairs and improvements.
